This item is really affordable and really awesome! We use it to help with cooling our upstairs when the forced air system needs some extra help. It's a great way to give our main A/C a rest from working so hard. The remote is very convenient.

A great backup to have in case of a power outage, especially during hurricane season in Florida. We keep these around in case our central AC fails, and they work well with our generator.

I bought this new air conditioner to upgrade from my Frost King 5000 BTU unit. I assumed the 6000 BTUs would cool the room faster, but it doesn't. It's also noisier than the smaller unit and the temperature reading is off by about 3 degrees.

This unit is perfect for cooling a room that doesn't get much airflow from the home system. It has helped to alleviate the strain on the main unit and keep the overall temperature of the home cooler. Additionally, it is great for keeping a room with multiple computers from heating up the rest of the house.

The product works fine, but its interface is unnecessarily complex and it continuously switches to Eco mode, which doesn't provide any cooling. The fan is also very loud, similar to the sound of putting baseball cards in bicycle spokes. I cannot recommend this product.

This product made my room feel like an igloo, and I was surprised at how well it worked and how easy it was to install. No directions needed, just common sense. Put it in the window, bolt down the top support, and you're all set. The only downside is the noise level, but that's to be expected. I love the remote and I'm really satisfied with this purchase. If you're unsure about buying it, don't worry - just go for it.

I bought this for my baby's room in the early summer when it was starting to get really hot. I was worried about her safety in the heat, but I'm so glad we got this before the hottest part of summer. It keeps her room nice and cool now, and we have to layer up to keep warm!

I was initially concerned about the possibility of receiving a damaged unit, as many reviews mentioned this issue. However, my unit did arrive with a slight dent on one side. Despite this, I decided to keep it as it was not significant enough to warrant a return. Ultimately, the unit works great!

This air conditioner effectively cools our 300 square foot office, but it's difficult to read the display in daylight, which is when it's most needed. It's hard to tell if it's on fan or eco mode and what the temperature setting is. I have to turn it on, press the mode button until I hear the compressor click on, and then feel for cold air coming out of the vent. It would be better if the settings were easier to read.
