This product is very noisy and has a red dot for the dust filter, but it is actually clean. However, there are no instructions provided on how to clear the red dot.

This air conditioning unit does a decent job of cooling my 150 square foot bedroom, but the noise levels are unbearable. My previous GE A/C was much quieter, and I find it difficult to sleep with the constant whine coming from this unit. I've even had to use it in the winter to cool down my apartment, but the noise is just too much. I'm really disappointed and wish I had chosen a different A/C. UPDATE 12/24/23: It has stopped working and no longer cools my room, despite me trying extreme settings. It also makes grinding noises. I regret spending money on this unit.

The air conditioner worked really well during the hot summer. Installing it was a breeze and it kept our large, high-ceilinged, and sun-soaked room at a comfortable 76 degrees, even when it was 90 degrees outside. It's a great air conditioner.

This little air conditioner is amazing. It's so quiet that I have to really listen just to hear it. It's Energy Star rated and I'm using it in Economy mode, so it automatically adjusts itself to maintain the desired temperature. My electric bill for a full month of use even went down by 6 cents compared to last month. I can't recommend it enough.

I chose the 6,000 BTU unit and found it easy to install, but it required multiple people to keep it steady and adjust in the window. It is much louder than I expected, with a noticeable hum and a bothersome whining noise. I had hoped it would be quiet enough for my bedroom, but that is not the case. I am considering returning it.

I was excited to install this AC unit in my bedroom, but unfortunately, it is very loud and sounds like there is something rattling inside. We have tried resetting it multiple times with no success. I'm extremely disappointed. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because it does effectively cool the room. However, I would only recommend it to heavy sleepers, as even with ear plugs I could still hear it.
