While I'm still exploring its capabilities, I'm currently satisfied with it. I recently took close-up and wide-angle photos with a gray background, and I'm pleased with the results. Although I haven't tested its video quality yet, I've heard positive reviews on YouTube, which is promising as I'm just beginning with tutorials and don't have the funds for a professional video camera at the moment. The picture quality is generally good, but I've noticed some distortion when manually zooming in with the wide-angle lens. I'll need to experiment more if I want distance shots. Additionally, although my case isn't thick, it casts a shadow on the corners of my phone's camera, requiring me to remove the case to use the lens. However, this isn't a major inconvenience for me, as long as I'm careful not to drop my phone. I'll provide an updated review with a video when I do a makeup tutorial. Overall, this lens is excellent, especially for beginners who aren't familiar with camera lenses or macros.

Considering the price, the image quality is fairly decent. However, being a multi-purpose compound lens, there are some optical compromises, such as slight pin-cushion distortion at the edges of the frame in Macro mode. The benefit for nature enthusiasts, such as flower enthusiasts and rock collectors, is the ability to quickly and easily photograph both the location of your discovery and capture a close-up of the specimen. The included accessories are also useful, particularly the clip-on illuminator for capturing well-lit close-ups from various angles.

This lens worked quite well for taking pictures of agates for my YouTube channel. It fits my iPhone 14 Pro as long as you set it up for the lens that the phone will use, and it also fits my old iPhone XR.

I'm pleased with my purchase of this lens, especially considering its positive reviews. Most of the photos I've taken with it have been satisfactory. Pros include quality photos (as seen with the dragonfly photos, which turned out well, particularly after post-processing), clear colors, easy attachment and screw design, and ease of cleaning. I haven't encountered any rusting issues, even when using it in snowy conditions. However, there are some cons to consider: shallow depth of field, which can be addressed by taking multiple shots of the subject at varying distances; fringing of red and blue hues towards the corners (though this can be fixed); and lens fogging under certain conditions, such as cold weather or when unscrewing the wide lens (though this can sometimes add a cool effect to photos). Additionally, I've encountered issues with fringing and software, such as the 2x or 2.5-3x cameras on the iPhone not accepting the lens view in some cases. Most people would use the typical 1x camera, where fringing might be noticed if the lens isn't centered above the camera. To use the telephoto lenses, simply tap portrait mode and place the lens over it, preventing the phone from reverting to the default camera.

The glass lenses feel high-quality, with a solid precision feel, and the kit comes with a lifetime warranty. The kit includes a good quality lanyard and case, which is a nice touch. Price was a crucial factor in my decision to purchase. I wanted to improve my macro photography without splurging on a better-known brand, and I don't think a more expensive lens would satisfy me more. I rated it overall four stars because I had to dig a bit to discover specifications for replacement caps. You can never have enough spare caps for any camera. The kit only includes caps for the front wide-angle and rear macro lenses. I ordered spares from a seller search. Unfortunately, there's no option to give 4.75 stars. The GlowClip is interesting ��� I expected a cheap feeling keychain light, but it's not. I anticipate using it frequently. However, like caps, spares don't seem to be available separately from the lens kit. I'm an old-fashioned three-point lighting kind of guy! On a positive note, 52mm DSLR filters fit the front wide-angle lens, so I can use polarizing, ND, etc. filters that I already own. I haven't yet tried macro filters. I'm hopeful that Raynox extends their line to include other focal lengths.
