This is my first time buying this brand, and the longevity of the battery will determine whether or not I buy again. I don't keep batteries for 7 years, so the sales item is irrelevant to me. All I can do is use the batteries and see how long they last.

These batteries seem to be of high quality. I haven't had them for very long so I can't comment on their durability yet, but I'm satisfied with my purchase. I intend to purchase more in the future.

I used these batteries for the backup in all of my smoke alarms in two 4-bedroom homes. I suspect that one of the batteries may have been defective, as one of the alarms intermittently showed a low voltage indication.

The battery pack is great, with plenty included and a good deal. It meets my needs for my fire and CO detector. The only downside is that it's slightly larger than a standard 9v battery. Hopefully, it will last longer than the previous Duracell battery in my detector.
