The batteries in the barking dog control device need to be replaced every 2-3 weeks, but it's possible that the device is the issue and not the batteries.

This item includes batteries labeled Avoid: Made in China and recommends choosing Duracell, RayOVac, and Energizer batteries, all of which are made in America.

Received on 3/04, looking forward to seeing if these six (6) 9 volt Alkaline batteries provide the same long-lasting power as the Brand Name ones. Only time will tell. Great price.

This item works well for the rooms located at the far end of the house.

I have found that these Impecca batteries seem to last as long as the big name brands. I am happy to report that I have not experienced any leaking with these batteries, unlike my previous experience with Rayovac. The prices are good and the batteries are well made and packaged. While I do not buy store brand or harbor freight batteries, I also don't believe that only buying Duracell is necessary, as they are not necessarily better. In my experience, these Impecca batteries have been reliable in all the sizes that I have purchased.

I recently purchased a 4-pack of Impecca alkaline 9-volt batteries and was pleased to find that each one measured exactly 9.66 volts when using a high quality multimeter. Comparing the length to a Duracell battery, I found that the Impecca battery was slightly longer, but still a high quality construction. The batteries are made in China and fit well in my smoke detector, but may vary depending on the device. If a standard Duracell 9-volt is a tight fit, the Impecca battery may be problematic.

The battery had some trouble making a strong connection with the device's connectors, but using a small shim helped to make it functional.
