I am happy with the size of the mouse and keyboard in this item. The keyboard is slimmer and not as wide as my old one, but essentially the same size. I can't speak to its longevity yet, but for my personal use, I am pleased. It also came with batteries for both devices. The silence of both the mouse and keyboard is a game-changer for me, no more annoying click-click-click sound.
