I currently live in Texas and rely on my AC for 8 months out of the year. Having been an HVAC tech in the past, I strongly believe that window units are the best option. Central air can end up being expensive, and mini-split systems have too many potential issues. If a window unit breaks, it's easy to replace and much more cost-effective than calling for a central air service. In my experience, GE and Impecca offer the best window units, as they tend to last a long time. I recently replaced a 12-year-old GE unit with a newer model, which is not only quieter but also has improved efficiency. The unit fit well in my window frame, and the installation was simple. I haven't encountered any problems so far, but I will update my review if that changes. To ensure a long lifespan for your window unit, I recommend using weather stripping and insulation for a well-insulated installation, and regular cleaning of the coils.

This item is just right for the bedroom!

I recently installed this AC unit and it effectively cools my 240 sq ft room in about 10 minutes, much faster than my previous unit. However, I have an issue with the ECO button as it shuts down the fan when the room reaches the desired temperature, causing the room to get hot before the unit turns back on. I find this inefficient as the unit then has to work harder to cool the room again. Additionally, I think it would be better if the temperature sensor was located on the remote so that the AC could monitor the ambient temperature more accurately. Overall, I never use the ECO feature and think it could be improved.

The product was still in great working condition despite some damages. I followed the instructions and it worked perfectly.

Price and energy efficiency are great. It's a bit noisy, but it's a single room air conditioner, so I can't complain too much. Installation was typical for a room AC unit. I would definitely purchase it again.

Working great all summer

I installed the item and set the temperature to 68 degrees, which was a significant improvement from the previous 88 degrees in the room. Surprisingly, it only took less than an hour for the room to reach the desired temperature of 68 degrees.

This air conditioner is definitely worth the investment. It effectively cools the room and has an automatic on and off function, making it very convenient. I'm extremely satisfied with my decision to buy it.
