Got two of these. One for each child. One child dropped his, and now it's semi-broken. The only drawback, if any, is that you have to buy batteries for it. It should have had built-in rechargeable ones.

Bought two of these for our 9 year old twins who have no experience with other video games. They were happy and have been playing on and off for a while. It's a basic model, not something you'd get for an experienced gamer, but it's perfect for them. We like that you can plug in headphones and play it by plugging it into an outlet or using batteries. We initially thought it was rechargeable, but it's not. Works for us!

I was worried my 8year old wouldn't be into it since he wanted a phone for Christmas. Turns out, he's hooked! Even I'm impressed by the game quality. I Easy for him to use, and you can even lower the sound on most games, perfect for car rides. It can run on batteries or a wall plug, making it versatile. Great value for a great handheld game!
