This summer, our 40-year-old through the wall AC unit stopped working. After considering several AC units, we chose to purchase one from Amazon because it was available sooner than other sources and came with a wall sleeve, which was necessary for installation. The unit arrived earlier than expected and was well packaged. However, the plastic pieces broke when we tried to tighten the screws, causing the sleeve to not stay together. Thankfully, my husband was able to find a solution using rivets. Although we don't expect the sleeve to last as long as our old unit, it is doing its job for now.

Installing this AC sleeve was a breeze, it was compatible with the new AC that I purchased and I had no trouble installing it.

The sleeve is of fairly good quality and was well packaged. The instructions were clear and it was easy to set up. My only complaint is that it took a week for the shipment to arrive even though it was supposed to be prime.
