We have an eight port surveillance system that connects to an eight outlet RJ45 wall plate. When I installed the system, I made the short Ethernet interconnect cables. It seemed there was ongoing connection problems. These cables were the answer for me. As it turned out in this case it wasn't a cable problem, it was a dead camera (ouch). The different colors are a quick visual of what is connected to what. I think they are a good value and well made. I would buy them again.

I bought this to plug to eliminate the use of wifi and have it plug directly to my modem/router. Since the price is so cheap i have little expectations that it will do a good job. Well, it turns out it was a great cable with a good price!
