I bought this for my youngest child since my older kids have Nintendos. It's convenient, but the directions aren't very clear. Some games are only available on cartridges, which are easy for younger children to lose. However, it has a variety of entertaining games. It's particularly useful for younger kids who need a distraction but shouldn't be on YouTube.

It has games I have never seen before, and they are more of a retro game, but my son is 5 and enjoys playing on it. There are a lot of games on it, and some are better than others, but it's a good cheap option for a game for a small child.

These were a Christmas present for both my boys 7 yrs and 3 yrs. It entertained both throughout the 2-day road trip to visit family. The battery lasts a long time approx 5 hrs. And the kids never got bored with the games since there is such a variety. The boxes come with earbuds too which was a plus occasionally.
