Mediocre Projector with Some Problems.

The projector has decent brightness in a dim room during the day, but it really shines at night, making it feel like you're in a movie theater. However, there are some issues with it. The remote can be unreliable and sometimes freezes, and when near a Roku TV, it can start controlling the TV instead of the projector. Additionally, there are compatibility issues with certain video files, as it sometimes shows File Unsupported for some mp4 videos. It would also be great if it had Bluetooth or cast features for easier connectivity with other devices. The only Bluetooth function available is for sending audio to speakers, and you can't directly stream videos from your phone to the projector.

This device comes with a movie screen, remote, and connecting cables. We originally purchased it for backyard movie nights, but also used it with our PS4 during house renovations to keep the kids entertained. It's not a Bluetooth device, so everything has to be connected with cords, but that's to be expected with the low price. The sound quality may be a concern for some, and we have found it necessary to connect it to our JBL speaker when the kids are around.

The title claims it projects 1080p, but it does not deliver on that promise. I originally gave a negative review, but after receiving a replacement projector, I can now say that the situation has been resolved. However, I will keep my previous comments for posterity.

What is that shining object in the projector?

After taking some time to set up the projector and getting it in the right position, I noticed a light spot or scratch on my wall. It seems to be on the lens, but I can't find anything physical causing it. It's not too bothersome, but it's still there. The black spot you see is a nail in my wall that I haven't removed yet, but the light disfigurement isn't part of the wall. It changes with the screen and different lighting. Other than that, the projector is okay. It was cheap and it is what it is. The focus isn't great, but for the price, it works well for TV and movies with my Chromecast.
