This DVD player is fantastic for the price. We used it on our trip, and it performed flawlessly. It's easy to operate, and the screen flips around, which is convenient. The sound quality is good, and it can lay flat, making it accessible for my 2-year-old to watch without touching any buttons. Not sure about the battery life, as I kept the car charger plugged in during the trip.

My old portable DVD player suddenly stopped working, so I needed a replacement. Although we don't often travel for long periods, having a portable DVD player is always a good idea. The player itself is sleek and not cheap-looking at all. I appreciate the 9-inch screen and swivel function, which is a bonus.
