The picture is okay, but the sound is ABOMINABLE!

As a replacement for a 15" portable DVD player I had nailed to my bathroom wall that stopped playing DVD's, this television is almost great!

The picture and colour is great! Unlike most cheap tvs, the image isn't blocky, and no sign of scan lines.

The DVD player works!

But... the audio is very quiet. I had to turn the volume up all the way to have it at a comfortable volume. And the speakers sound like they hooked up a couple of tin cans to the main board with old and very dirty string.
After turning the bass all yhe way up, and the treble all the way down, it's almost bearable, but I'm unsure I will be able to hear this over the noise of my shower.

This might be a Bathtub only television.

Would I spend $300 Canadian Dollars on this if I had to do it again?

No. Especially when I can get a much higher quality 40" smart tv without the DVD player for half the price.

I think this is only worth $150.

Oh well!
