The clock stays softly illuminated at all times, with the option to adjust the brightness. I prefer to keep it on a low setting so I can easily read the time at night without being disturbed. It's lightweight and easy to move around on the dresser. I haven't used the alarm feature, so I can't speak to its effectiveness.

I am pleased with the simplicity and convenience of this clock. I appreciate the easy adjustment of the time and brightness. The only suggestion for improvement is to add a light sensor to conserve battery power during the day. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

This clock is perfect for our nursery, especially at night. The light is just bright enough to see the time without disturbing the baby or us while we sleep. The numbers are big and easy to read, and the clock is portable. We absolutely love it!

The viewing angle for this LCD screen is extremely narrow and becomes dim and blurry from any angle other than directly above. I tested it with both fresh alkaline and rechargeable batteries and experienced the same issue. I am returning it as defective.

I purchased this item to use in my acupuncture room so I can easily see the time during treatments. I prefer to keep the room dark while patients are resting, and the light on this clock is just right. It's bright enough for me to always see the time, but not so bright that it disrupts the peaceful atmosphere.

I finally found the perfect clock after searching for a long time. I wanted a small, simple display with a constant backlight and a battery-operated design. This clock has a wheel on the back to adjust the brightness and a button on the top to light up the display, although I never use it. I haven't used it as an alarm clock, so I can't comment on that, but the battery life has been great. After 2 1/2 months, it's still going strong, even with the backlight on the highest setting. I absolutely love this clock and highly recommend it.

This clock stays bright consistently, making it easy to read day or night. I use it in the bathroom as both a nightlight and a clock, and it's bright enough to see the time from the hallway without turning on the bathroom light. The brightness also makes it easy to find the light switch in the dark. The batteries have lasted three months with no dimming or issues maintaining the time at 70-90% brightness.
