Quality Varied Opinions: Pleasantly Taken aback

I have fond memories of my mother singing in the kitchen when I was younger, and this sound system brings back those memories. It has great sound and was easy to install. Just tape up the template, drill a few 1/4 holes, put screws in, plug it in, and enjoy your favorite tunes. -

However, I wish it didn't have a clock feature, as I already have multiple clocks in my kitchen. It would be great if I could simply disable the screen when I don't need to use it. -

Even setting the time requires pairing, although the radio didn't set the time automatically as promised. We decided to return it because we didn't want to drill holes in our cabinets to install it. The built-in speakers are supposed to be stereo, but the sound quality isn't clear enough to tell if they are. -

I spent over an hour trying to do so, and even customer service couldn't help me fully resolve the issue. After several hours of trying, I was eventually able to program the 5 stations I wanted, but they are scattered throughout the preset buttons and I can't get rid of the other unwanted stations. Patience is needed when dealing with this. -

However, it has some drawbacks such as poor sound quality and the inconvenience of having to go through all presets to get to a specific one. On the positive side, it has a volume control on start-up, unlike previous models. -

After years of searching, I found this gem on Amazon and I'm so happy with it. I mostly use it to listen to the radio while I'm in the kitchen, and I've used the Bluetooth a few times to play music from my phone. The light underneath is cool, but I prefer warmer light. The antenna wire is long, but I don't need to stretch it out for good reception. The installation template was helpful, but it took me a while to figure it out. Overall, I'm pleased with this product.
