As a retired scientist, I needed a small freezer that could reach -20��C for a new project. After reading reviews and seeing that even expensive models had similar percentages of negative reviews, I decided to go for the Impecca CUF-112SS Mini, which was priced under $200. This decision paid off as the freezer arrived in perfect condition and the temperature was almost 10��C colder than needed. I'm glad I didn't spend $700-$800 on a freezer when I could get the same odds for much less.

The initial freezer I received had excessive frost buildup within a short period of time, despite being properly balanced and in a low humidity area with adequate space around all sides. After contacting Impecca support and performing a gasket inspection and test as instructed, it was determined that the gasket was not sealing properly. Impecca support acknowledged the issue and promptly offered to send a replacement at no cost. The new freezer has been working well for the past month with no frost problems. I am very satisfied with Impecca's customer support and the performance of the new freezer so far.

The small freezer functions well. I've owned it for 1.1 months. There is a small amount of frost, but not a lot. It can hold a good amount of items. The door seal is very secure. It did sustain some damage during shipping, as others have mentioned. The plastic coating was torn on one side and the styrofoam packaging left marks on the top, so if you want it to look perfect, it's best to buy it in store and transport it yourself. If you can live with a slightly imperfect appearance, it's a great little freezer. I appreciate that the door opens from the front for easy access to everything.

This small freezer is perfect for my needs. It does build up frost, like all small units, but it starts right away. You'll have to clean it once a month or so, but a scraper is included. The temperature control wheel is in an awkward spot, but once it's set, you can forget it. It performs great, and it has a quiet motor and low power usage. The motor is barely noticeable and it only consumes 44W of power, about 2 bucks per month. It has 1.1 shelves and can hold a lot, maybe even a little too much for me, but I love it.

The unit is overall nice looking, compact, and provides even cooling. However, I was frustrated to find shipping damage twice. The first one had substantial damage to the frame near the compressor, and the replacement had a buckle in the upper rear corner. The temperature control is not convenient, located behind the freezer, and the shelves are not adjustable, limiting the size of what you can store. If you can get one that does not get damaged in shipping, then I have no problem recommending it.

I want to make it clear that the temperature control for this freezer is located in the back at the bottom near the cooling unit, which makes it inconvenient to adjust. To change the freeze temperature, you have to pull the unit away from the wall, partially turn it around, and then reach down to the bottom to adjust the temperature control. I have seen other freezers of similar size with the control inside the door where it is easily accessible, and I regret not considering that when I bought this freezer. Otherwise, the freezer is working fine and I likely won't have to adjust the temperature often.

The freezer has consistently maintained a zero or below temperature since it was purchased in September 2020. Defrosting the interior has been easy due to the smooth interior surfaces and removable wire shelves. However, like other reviewers, I have noticed that the compressor tends to stay on. It is possible that the thermostat could control this issue. The temperature control dial has been set to the maximum [6]. Additionally, the compressor has some rust spots and feels hot to the touch. This raises concerns about the quality of the compressor used by Impecca. An update on the compressor issuewhen the thermostat dial is turned down to a lower setting, the compressor does not stay on continuously. At the [5] setting, the temperature was -12F.

The unit is really nice and got down to freezing temperatures quickly. I currently have mine set on 4 and it's -9F according to the thermometer inside the unit. Other reviewers mostly have theirs set on 1.1 and that is more than enough. The temperature will never be above freezing in the unit. There is a good amount of space for freezing dishes in portions that don't last long in a refrigerator. It is fairly quiet and has a good seal on the door. It seems to hold the temperature very well. It was a good purchase and worth the price.

I needed a separate freezer for my large garden produce, herbs, etc. It arrived well packaged but with significant scuffs, scratches, and cosmetic damage. The leveling foot was bent and the outside was disappointing. The freezer cooled nicely and the interior is spacious.

However, we received the freezer with it locked and the key supposedly inside, but we have not been able to reach customer service for help. It's disappointing because the product is exactly what we need, but currently unusable until we receive assistance.

I purchased this freezer and it arrived without any damage and on time. I bought it for my RV to have additional freezer space for ice cream. It works as advertised and is quieter than I expected. However, when the RV is in motion, I hear a loud rattling sound coming from the round metal canister at the lower back of the freezer. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue or if it's just with my unit. I hope I don't have to return it because other than the loud rattle, it functions as I had hoped.

We acquired a lot of bulk food during the pandemic and our existing freezers were completely full. I decided to purchase this additional freezer for extra space. It fits on top of our dorm fridge and is used for items we need easy access to. We still love it even though we don't need as much space now. It doesn't defrost and while it's not a lot of space, I would purchase it again in the same situation.

The Freezer works perfectly and has plenty of space for a single or maybe two person household. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because mine arrived damaged with a ding on the side. It wasn't worth returning but it did happen. Other than that, you won't be disappointed.

I reside in a 16 ft trailer, and this freezer fits nicely under a shelf in my kitchen area. It uses 0.1 amp when in a freezing cycle. I quickly filled it up with several packages of vegetables, a couple pounds of ground meat, containers of leftovers, ice cream, some chicken legs, and a bottle of water for my cooler. The included tiny ice cube tray is adorable, and although I don't typically use ice, it comes in handy at random times. This freezer has definitely elevated my lifestyle, as I have lived without a freezer or refrigerator for over a decade.

The compact freezer was well-packaged and arrived undamaged. I installed it, leveled it as recommended, and plugged it in. It was so quiet that I had to put my ear close to the compressor to hear it. The freezer comes with an ice scraper for defrosting and a small plastic ice cube tray that makes tiny half-inch square cubes. The cubes were solid within about 40 minutes. After checking the temperature with a freezer thermometer, I adjusted the control to 1.1 for a temperature of -2 degrees F. I recommend purchasing a thermometer to check performance. Overall, I am satisfied with this freezer.

The fridge arrived with several dents on the bottom sides, possibly due to shipping or movement in the delivery van. It seems to be working fine for now, but I am upset about the aesthetic damage. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. I had been wanting a deep freezer for extra food storage, as my current freezer is already packed. I previously bought a 5 cu ft freezer but it got lost in shipping and I was issued a refund. I had been struggling to find the exact item I wanted at a reasonable price until I found this one. Even though it was a few days late, I finally received it and installed it in my pantry. It works perfectly fine with an extension cord due to the three prong plug. It's just the right size for my frozen veggies and is a helpful addition, especially during the pandemic.

The freezer I received today was dead-on-arrival. The plug was bent, and despite my attempts to straighten it out and plug it in, it did not work. Considering the issues with the packaging and the difficulty of returning it during lockdown, I would caution against buying a bulky appliance online. Overall, I found the experience to be absolutely awful and a rip off.

I purchased the 1.1cu ft freezer and was pleasantly surprised with its condition upon arrival. After letting it sit upright for the recommended 4 hours, I plugged it in and found that it cooled quickly. The freezer is quiet and works well. It does get a little warm when the compressor kicks on, but nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, it's a great addition for our family in an apartment.

The delivery of this unit was very quick and it was easy to unpack. It fit perfectly in the space I had for it. However, I was frustrated to find that the keys were locked inside the unit. Luckily, I had the right tools to open it. When I tried to switch the door from left to right, I found that the top screws were tightly glued in, making it difficult to move them. If they hadn't been glued, it would have been much easier to switch the door.

As a vegetarian, it has enough space to store all my frozen vegetarian LightLife sausages, LightLife smart sausages, vegetarian entrees, cheese slices, frozen tofu, leftovers, and fresh fruit. I forgot to snap a photo, but this amount of frozen food can be adequate for one person over a month's time.

I have been considering downsizing to a smaller fridge, so I wanted to move some of my freezer food elsewhere. I purchased the 1.1.0 size last summer, thinking it would be similar to a dorm fridge, but it turned out to be much taller and heavier than I expected. It was a challenge to get it into my house and down the basement stairs. However, it arrived without any dents or scratches, and I haven't had any issues with it so far. It holds a surprising amount of food and my electricity bill hasn't been impacted significantly. I'll try to add some photos to show its size and features. The basket isn't very large because it shares space with the motor, and the upper shelves are deep and not adjustable. The door has a lockable latch, although I haven't used it.

But if it's the max size you can fit, it's great.

This Freezer has been such a game-changer for me. I have dealt with chronic pain for years and always struggled to find someone to help me get ice packs from the downstairs freezer, especially in the middle of the night. Since getting this Impecca freezer, I have found so much more independence. It is incredibly quiet and spacious inside, easily fitting my 8x15 ice packs.
