The mini freezer came with tape that was difficult to remove, causing damage to the plastic. There are scratches on the top and marks inside the freezer. We hope this is a new freezer, but we have our concerns. We just received it so we are unsure of its functionality. We will provide an update later.

The freezer arrived with a large hole in the box, but the driver and I did not notice any damage, so I accepted it. When I tried to plug it in, I found the cord was wrapped behind the control unit. After contacting the company, they assured me it would still work but I was not happy with the cord being twisted, so I had to remove one screw to untangle it. After fixing the cord, I plugged it in and it worked perfectly. The seal on the freezer is very strong, which I was pleased with. Despite being expensive, it served my needs well.

The freezer was delivered in perfect condition with no damage or imperfections. Jose G. at Impecca provided great assistance with my purchase over the phone. The freezer is well-made with a strong door seal and easily freezes when set between 1.1 to 0 degrees F. It is not ideal for putting large amounts of food or items at higher temperatures all at once, as it may take a longer time to bring the temperature down. The freezer is manufactured for Impecca by Midea to their specifications. I chose the Impecca brand because of their high-quality products. They are a reputable US company that manufactures appliances. The freezer should be set in a temperature zone of 50 to 90 degrees F. It has sufficient shelf space for all necessary items and runs quietly. If you are looking for a small, well-built 1.1.0 cu ft freezer, this is a great option. Each shelf has a cooling coil underneath, and the bottom shelf also has a basket and another cooling coil below it.

The freezer was purchased about two weeks ago with a slight dent, but not enough to return. The top paint is very sensitive and easily scratched. The freezer itself works well with very little frost so far. It stays around 2 degrees on the default setting of 1.1. Freezing items in the fridge before putting them in the freezer helps to keep the frost down by limiting moisture. I also try not to open it too often to limit moisture in the air. It is pretty quiet most of the time, with just a small click every now and then.

I purchased this as a backup for my basement to my new main kitchen refrigerator/freezer, as my last one failed abruptly. I have another small refrigerator + freezer in the basement as well, which unfortunately has a pretty small freezer. This Impecca looks good and got down to temperature very quickly, and it's quiet. I was REALLY impressed with how Impecca packaged it. My other small refrigerator/freezer arrived with a couple of large dents and the box fell apart when I opened it. This Impecca unit arrived in a sturdy box banded with plastic straps. I cut the straps and the box lifted off the base. However, underneath was a second Impecca box, also banded to its base. I cut the straps and lifted the box off of that, and the appliance was packed with some styrofoam and plastic pads, and all loose parts were secured with tape. Really appreciate the extra effort they took to secure this, as I usually hesitate from ordering appliances online, because they tend to get dented often in shipping. Very pleased with this item, how it arrived, and how it performs.

I purchased two black 1.1 ft capacity freezers in July 2020. They arrived in perfect condition and have been excellent so far. They are located in my unheated and damp basement in the Wash DC area. The power used by the two freezers has not been noticeable according to daily readings of my electric meter. They maintain the set temperature of -6 degrees F. I have put four thermometers in different places in one of them and get uniform temperature readings in the air throughout the freezer. I open the doors about twice a week and just defrosted one for the first time, which was still at -6F. I have not experienced any issues that other reviewers have mentioned. However, I did notice a significant increase in the price since my purchase.

The small freezer has been in use for about a month with no issues. Energy efficiency was measured at about 250kwh/year. The motor cycles on and off, with no noise when off, and a low level booom noise when on. The noise level was measured at about 1.16~1.18db. Some may not want to place the freezer in a living room due to the noise. One downside is the exposed motor, which requires a 4 distance from the wall. It is recommended to be careful if there are small pets around. Overall, it is a good small freezer for the price.

I purchased the 1.1 cu. ft. size, which was the perfect dimensions for my space. The packaging and shipping material was very secure and opened up with ease. It is working well so far and I will update if that changes. The locking mechanism on the door makes me feel that there is low risk of the door opening. Two areas of improvement(1) it is slightly noisier than expected; (2) I wish there was an auto-defrost feature as I live in a humid area and imagine I will need to defrost once a year.

The freezer has some scuffs and scratches on the top, as if someone used an abrasive pad on it. The packaging was intact when it arrived, so it's surprising. It's also missing the cap for the door reversal hole on top. The keys were locked inside and I had to use security bits to open it, which was frustrating. The refrigerator arrived in good condition and was settled on a flat surface for several hours before being turned on. I followed the manufacturer's instructions for the initial setup, running the empty fridge at the maximum setting for at least 2 hours. It ran constantly for almost a day with very little breaks or cycling in between. After 24 hours, the fridge finally settled and now cycles properly. It is very quiet and deep freezes quite well even at low settings, even with a full load of meat. Initially, it draws up to 600W when the compressor turns on but normalizes to a very low 48 to 50 Watts during normal operation. It uses about 1kWh per day for me, so roughly $41.1 a year at 12 cents/kWh as the sticker tag suggests. Overall, it is a pretty decent small freezer. I will update if anything happens.

This freezer was purchased to supplement the one in my RV fridge. It's the perfect size for the limited space in a camper. We've been using it for a year now and are very happy with it. We took it on a round trip to Alaska and used it for storing food items on the way up and salmon on the way back. It stayed frozen and safe even during long periods without power. We even stayed overnight at WalMart without power and everything was still hard frozen when we finally had power again. I would give it 6 stars if I could! I had planned on using an inverter to power it off the batteries while driving, but it didn't work with the inverter I have. Despite that, it's a great unit for my needs.

I like the compact size of this freezer as it fits well in my limited fridge freezer space. However, the second one I received also had damage on the corners, similar to other reported cases. My main concern is the lack of a cover on the compressor/motor at the back, which seems potentially dangerous for dust and dirt accumulation, as well as the risk of a child getting their finger stuck. Additionally, I am hesitant to place it against a wall as the manual advises leaving 4 inches of space around it.

I have had this freezer for just over 24 hours. UPS delivered it rightside up and my driver said it was handled properly. I left it about 18 hours before plugging it in at 6 per the manual. The ice cube tray was frozen in just under 2 hours. The freezer is sitting on a hardwood floor with good airspace all around and has been quiet. The packaging was good with some damage to the outside box but the inside box and unit were in perfect condition. I am very happy with this purchase.
