Got this for one of my staff's offices -- the lowest setting is EXTREMELY quiet, and as you increase the speed it does, of course, get a bit noisier. But still NOT overly noisy by any means. Moves a lot of air for the size. Lightweight and easy to move as wanted.

The print in the instructions was so small that I had to use a magnifying glass to read it. The pictures were not very sharp or helpful. Nevertheless, I was able to assemble it without great difficulty in about 30 minutes. The tilt was difficult to adjust. The fan is working OK and meets my expectations.

This oscillating fan seems to work fine, is lightweight, and is very quiet! My only negative is that I thought given the inexpensive plastic construction, it may not be durable and seems a bit overpriced (around $30). Time will tell if it performs and lasts.

The fan works better than I expected. It is lightweight and it runs silently. I have used it for 3 weeks now. The metal shaft needs oil as it is making some squeaking noise. The fan blade is made of plastic to reduce the total weight of the fan.

Unfortunately, the fan is not strong enough for me. I threw away the packaging and was unable to return. The size is bigger than I wanted but that is fine. The customer service department immediately reached out to me and offered to replace the fan or refund my money. They were professional and kind. I changed my rating because at the end of the day, if you are not happy with the purchase, it is nice to know that the company cares and wants to make it right.

This fan does a great job so far. I withheld a star only because the fan is as plastic as possible, so I wonder about the longevity of the motor. Also, it is very lightweight, tending toward top-heavy. If used in a home with children or pets who'd be likely to knock it over, I think it would crack easily.

FanFair Oscillating Table Fan came with instructions on how to assemble. Assembly was quick and easy. In step 3, you'll need to remove the locknut too. For Step 4, if you lay it flat on a table it will be easier to assemble. There is a white arrow on the white grille that is easy to miss. It should point up. Quiet it is not but bearable. The sound is more like white noise, no difference from other fans. I got the white fan and it looks nice in the room with white furniture, also lightweight (all plastic, even the fan blade) so easy to carry to another room and eventually to the garbage bin. Hopefully it will last a while.
