I did use it 2 different ways as well, just as a sort of stress test to see what light conditions it will handle. I���m impressed with the picture quality at high lighting. The tests were done playing fallout 4. The 2 pictures are set to the games highest setting and before you ask, yes, it���s on the ceiling. I find you can relax more that way. The output is set to 1080p, 1920x1080. Even with my lighting on, the game was totally playable. It���s expected to be better with the lighting off and it did not disappoint. Make sure you provide it good ventilation; this thing throws off some pretty good heat. Overall, for the price point, It���s definitely worth it.
