I originally bought this to replace the tv in our bedroom and wanted to connect some sort of Roku or fire stick but the Firestick would show picture but no sound and then we gave up and bought a Roku but had difficulties with it but that wasn’t the projectors fault it was faulty and we had to return it we havnt tried the Roku again but we use the switch and ps4 and it works amazing the sound is surprisingly loud no need for Bluetooth speaker if used inside if you use outside or just want a louder sound we connected a Bluetooth speaker and it works amazing too we also connected it via aux cord cause I didn’t read the instructions on how to Bluetooth it but definitely 100% worth it and the DVD player is a definite plus

I purchased this projector for movie nights with friends, but the picture quality is only passable. The bottom of the screen is blurry, making subtitles hard to read for the entire length of a movie. The UI for apps on a Roku also looks blurry. You may not notice these issues if you have subtitles disabled. I might try moving the projector closer, but I like having a screen size of 70 inches with subtitles.

it only plays about 50% of my DVDs. when it won't play it makes a loud clicking sound and won't read DVD. i don't have any bootleg or made in china dvds btw

Works great through HDMI connection with multiple Devices. Phones and game console. DVD also works great.

Pretty awesome, worked well until it didn't. The DVD feature stopped working. I was watching a bunch of DVDs but I don't know.. I only had it a couple weeks. I think I'm just going to get a TV w/DVD this time. The one thing about projectors that I'd not thought about is that your room needs to be quite dark to see the image well. I like to watch movies while I do other stuff most times. As a once in a while 'movie night' piece tho, it's perfect.. way large, crisp screen but not for day use really.
Thanks anyway! I might try it again at a later date when I'm not going to be using it much and make sure to get a warranty.

Updated Review: After working with the seller, it was determined that the original unit I received was defective. They sent me a replacement model which works great. However, it is difficult to dial in the sharpness and can lead to headaches after watching a full movie.

We love this projector. We got it just in time for our camping trip. Without having WiFi the DVD player is wonderful for the kids favorite movies. The quality of the picture is much better than we expected and as long as it���s not a noisy environment the sound is just fine.

Just what I needed. Seems to be what and how it was advertised.

Van makes a lot of noise. Okay when using with Bluetooth speaker. DVD player is nice feature.

I don't know if this works the same one all of them but the volume on the video when you trying to watch it it's very very low I haven't gotten around to buying a set of external speakers yet and see if that solves the problem other than that I turned my living room wall into my TV set

The only complaint I have is that the speaker is not very loud. I will be purchasing an external speaker so that we can hear it better. The picture and brightness are great and can be adjusted!

I bought this unit a few months ago, and found that I had to build a 4 ft. platform shelf to set the unit on in order to get the image to appear on my wall. Now, the image fills my entire wall (approx. 6 ft. x 10+ ft.) and if the room is completely dark, we can watch it and have a beautiful (albeit slightly grainy) image. It could just be the DVD's we're watching because they are filmed in dark places a lot. But it's satisfactory. The most serious defect is that the sound is almost nil. By that I mean I had to add a Bluetooth speaker so I could hear it. Truthfully, I have a hearing issue so I always place the volume at max anyway, but just so you know, you'll have to do this as well if you want a quality theater experience. I'm sure there are better projector lenses that focus sharper images on more expensive units, but this does the job for the money. You just have to be able to set the projector at just the right height to get the desired results.

I once bought a tv with a DVD player installed to it. This was like the next best thing. I'm pretty much sold on the idea that this could be the only projector I'm going to ever need. My next move is going to probably be to store it away and go on and buy that big screen tv I've always wanted.

Needs to have louder sound

I had been looking at this projector for a while, and bought it for the built in DVD player. It was also a Bluetooth. However, after opening the box to set up, I heard a clicking sound something was loose on the inside of the projector. Plugged it in, it died within 5 minutes. No power whatsoever. So needless to say, I will be returning it and getting my money back.. For under $100, I guess you get what you pay for.. I would not recommend this unit if you are looking for a reasonably priced projector.

I watch DVDs with it in my bedroom. It���s like going to the movies at home! The sound and picture quality is awesome.

Love the built in DVD player. Makes for a perfect item for our camper. No wifi / Bluetooth/ phone cord adapters to deal with. Just put in the DVD , point and play. Haven't tried many other features, but did use an aux cord to hook up our portable speaker which improved the sound greatly.

I love it! I only have one TV in my house so when I justvwant to watch something alone I can take the projector anywhere ir set the kids up with a movie in a snap! It's great for any age, plays any DVD! Bluetooth is awesome! We hooked it up to a speaker for the whole neighborhood to hear!

Great picture, portable, and easy to use

This little projector is a great find that I got on a Black Friday deal. It's perfect for anyone who is new to projectors. I was able to connect all my devices to it, like my FireStick, Apple TV, iPhone 12pro, and even my ATT receiver. However, there are some additional cables and adjustments needed, such as adjusting the receiver for stereo sound if it doesn't support Dolby Digital. The sound on the unit is okay, but I would recommend using external speakers. Overall, it has its limitations, but with a little research and workarounds, you can be quite satisfied with this projector. -Ray, Pasadena, CA

I had never used a projector before, but I decided to try it out to show Halloween video clips with Atmos clips. I projected onto cheap cheesecloth material and it worked great. I also added a small portable powered external speaker, which made me very happy. I tested it in the house on the wall and the picture quality was very good. Overall, I am happy with this low-priced projector - it's all I needed and it works great.

I guess you cannot demand more for the price. The main attraction was the built in DVD player but it doesn���t recognize all DVD discs, even commercial ones. Also the DVD playback is not smooth and often freezes. The bluetooth connectivity works OK. The image needs to be tweaked for the quality to resemble film. Out of the box it looks like a TV image. It may have to do with the LCD engine. All my other pro lector���s are DLP.

We like to do outdoor movies at home and camping and sometimes WiFi isn���t avail or strong enough to stream movies. So I was looking for a small, lightweight projector that had a DVD player instead of Hulu or Online. They���re hard to find! But this has been great! We���ve already had many family nights around the fire Watching movies under the stars.
The sound is a little weak, so I suggest hooking it up to a Bluetooth speaker. It���s super easy to set up. Grab a movie, extension cord, a Speaker, blankets, a pillow and get settled in.
I still can���t get the clarity perfect, either the words are slightly blurry or the picture is, but it does the job and I���m happy with it

Picture is clear. Could be much clearer. The dvd movie works Great. Easy to hook up. Took a bit to learn. Got it fir my bday movie night outside. Kids love outside movies. Shipping was smooth. Packaging nice too. Will review more on the blutooth. Did not come with AV cords. Would have expected more acc. to come with.
