I do LOVE this projector, when the focus is just right. The issue I'm having is the focus gradually (over 30min-1hr) drifts back out without the projector being touched at all. This is irritating when you're trying to watch a movie, or are scrolling to find just the right thing you want to watch. I always have to roll the focus in the same direction, so it's not like the physical part is slipping back the other way. I use this instead of a TV since it's far less likely that a cat will destroy a projector by trying to play with what's on screen. Also, it's portable and versatile. But the focus thing is just extremely irritating and inconvenient. I ordered 2 of these, and my daughter says hers is doing the same thing, so I'm not sure if it's just the ones we got (we got them at the same time), or if it's something inherent in the design that's unavoidable. Apart from that, the picture quality is fantastic and I was able to take it with me on a trip recently. I'd definitely rate this 5 stars if it wasn't for that issue.

As for the video and sound quality, it is really good for its size. It projects at HD, and the color reproduction is pretty good. The pictures I have is in a semi-darkened room in the middle of the day, and the projector is about 8 feet away from the wall. The picture size at that distance is about 55inch (my guess, I didn���t really measure it) . I don���t regret buying this one bit, it���s a perfect little machine!

Nice budget projector. Picture quality is pretty good given the price. We use it mostly for backyard movie nights. I connect a Bluetooth speaker as the speaker that comes with the projector isn't that good. But I am buying this to project movies and not for its speaker quality so I didn't take off any star. I connect it directly to my laptop via HDMI cables. Of note, the projector can do screen mirroring off your phone but it won't play netflix or youtube via screen cast due to copyright issues. This is a limitation imposed by netflix or other streaming apps and not the fault of the projector. If you want to stream wirelessly from your laptop or your phone then you just need to connect Google ChromeCast or AppleTV.

The sound is okay indoors but when outdoors it is a little hard to hear. If there is light it is hard to see the picture but it is a projector and I expect that. Other than that, I enjoy my projector. I did buy a connector to hook up my iPhone and I had to buy one for my droid but other devices were easy to hook up with an HDMI cord.

I bought this projector to display holiday scenes from 80ft away, and it works great. It's much smaller than my previous projector, but the image is much clearer. I also like that it has Bluetooth audio and quickly paired with my portable speaker. The only drawback is that when I s on repeat from a USB, it shows the title of each video every time, which is not ideal for the effect I want to create. My older projector didn't have this issue.

This projector and screen seems like it's too good to be true for the price (at least at the time of my purchase). I read a lot of the mostly positive reviews and decided to buy one to use outside by the fire pit. Just like any projector it works best in darkness, but even with the light from the fire I could still easily see what was on the screen. I suspended the included screen from our patio cover with bungee cords and set the projector on a table and projected it from the rear of the screen (you can mirror the image in the settings menu for this type of setup). One review said the focus is hard to adjust but I found it very easy and had no issue rolling it with my thumb due to the knurled texture surface (I found visually its easiest to set while text, like a movie menu, is being projected on the screen). Another review said it doesn't have a tilt adjustment foot screw, which it does. Its not called out in the manual but it's the black star shaped screw foot on the bottom. The projector also has a threaded insert for using with a tripod or ceiling mount. It has its own speaker, which works, but since it was placed so far from where I was sitting I chose to run a headphone jack style cable from the audio output to a jobsite radio that was placed on the ground in front of the screen. I watched 2 and �� movies like this (blu ray player via hdmi as the input) and loved it. I also experimented with a fire stick which also worked great.

After taking some time to set up the projector and getting it in the right position, I noticed a light spot or scratch on my wall. It seems to be on the lens, but I can't find anything physical causing it. It's not too bothersome, but it's still there. The black spot you see is a nail in my wall that I haven't removed yet, but the light disfigurement isn't part of the wall. It changes with the screen and different lighting. Other than that, the projector is okay. It was cheap and it is what it is. The focus isn't great, but for the price, it works well for TV and movies with my Chromecast.
