I bought this pack because I needed a few D cells for a transfer pump. I usually buy Amazon Basic batteries, but they came in a much bigger package than I needed. These have a great shelf life and last longer than the Basics, although they are more expensive.

Impecca D Batteries performed admirably in a large portable radio, a C. CRANE CC2E, which was powered on for an average of three hours a day at moderate volume over approximately six months before exhaustion. Impecca D Batteries DID NOT leak at all unlike Duracell brand batteries I've purchased and recommend avoiding. Impecca D Batteries are now my preferred batteries.

We got these for the kids toy they got for Christmas and they have lasted a long time, including being left out in the rain in said toy and still working afterward. Impecca batteries clearly do last longer than the off-brands. Worth the extra $.

Wished there was a way to know when a battery was needing replacing. Batteries use to last a lot longer than they do now. Think that is manufacturer's way of continuing having too replace them.

I have been using Impeccas since they were firs introduced many years ago. I bought a new set of these batteries in 2016 and they are still working just fine in my camping lantern which I use only for emergencies. I just bought another set of these D batteries in July of 2017. The batteries have an expiration date of 12-2027 which is more than 10 years in the future!! I hope they last that long. I expect that they will lose some of their power after a while. But, I also have the peace of mind that I have extra batteries around the house.

I bought these for 2012 purposes or just power outages. These are probably one of the more versatile batteries and you can use them in many ways if you know how. I am probably gonna use them for back up for my lanterns but they seem great and you are getting quality batteries from Impecca.
