We have purchased three microwaves from Impecca, all similar in make and model. The latest one has LED lights and the 'quick minute' button has been replaced with a 'quick 30 seconds' button. Other than that, it is just like the previous versions. I really enjoy using this microwave as it can handle a variety of tasks, from softening butter to cooking a pork roast or small turkey. I find that using an oven bag and some Kitchen Bouquet for browning works great for cooking larger items.

After 25 years of faithful use, my old Impecca finally gave out. I immediately searched for a replacement and found this one, although I wanted it in black, the one was available for immediate purchase. It's larger, but that's not a problem as I have the space for it. I used it for the first time this morning and am very happy with it. This microwave is great, especially for its defrost mode. Most microwaves don't do well with defrosting, but this one actually defrosts without overcooking the food. You just input the weight of the food and it's defrosted in no time. It's also pretty accurate with cooking times and doesn't have any issues with uneven heating. The only downside is that the interior is a bit difficult to clean and the door doesn't always close properly. Overall, it's a great microwave.

We purchased this microwave to replace our old Impecca microwave that was damaged in a storm. Unlike the old one, this microwave does not interfere with bluetooth or wifi, unless you are directly in front of it. However, it would be convenient to have a text scroll in the display for the presets, as they are currently just numbers. We had to create a chart and attach it to the microwave door. We purchased a Used - Like New unit for $100 off, and although the unit itself arrived without damage, the tray ring was loose inside. Fortunately, it did not break during shipping despite the beat-up box and damaged foam. Make sure to consider the large dimensions of this unit and ensure you have enough counter space before purchasing.

My microwave fits on the shelf meant for microwaves in my newly remodeled kitchen. However, the bumped out back didn't align with the electrical outlet and the 1 1/2 inch plug, so it didn't sit properly on the shelf. I had to purchase a flat extension cord and have an electrician install a recessed plug for it to fit properly. The clock is difficult to read for someone as short as me (52 inches). Additionally, the instruction book is extremely complex and hard to understand, even with my Masters degree. I considered returning it, but dealing with the hassle of returning an online purchase was too much.

I've had this microwave for almost 5 years now and I am very happy with it. The large capacity and high wattage are great, and it heats food well and evenly. The defrost function is better than any microwave I've had before, and the beep sound is not too loud. I gave it 4 stars for features/user interface because changing the power level is not very intuitive, but once you understand it, it's not difficult. It does sweat slightly inside, but I think that might be because I have it on a shelf with limited air flow. I just leave the door open to let the moisture dissipate or dry it with a rag. Overall, it has been very reliable and I'm happy with its performance. I'm actually buying a second one for our new house and I plan to purchase the same model again. The current one will stay in our guest house.

This Impecca microwave was purchased as a replacement for our old GE microwave. However, we were dismayed by the poor quality of the unit. The plastic components feel flimsy and cheap, and we doubt that it will last more than a few years. The door does not close properly unless pushed in a specific spot, and the push-button to open the door feels easily breakable. The microwave also feels significantly lighter than our old one, indicating low-quality materials. Additionally, we found it difficult to turn off the beeps, and the interface requires two pushes to start a quick cycle, unlike our previous microwave. Overall, we were disappointed with the quality and considered returning the product.

The glass platter is huge, and the power defrost feature is impressive. The only downside is that it doesn't automatically start when you press the add 30 seconds button like my old unit did. Now I have to press Start as well. I know, first-world problems. Just be cautious with the cooking time, as this 1,200 watt microwave cooks quite fast. December 2022: After owning it for over six months, I have mixed feelings about this microwave. It is okay, but it takes longer to heat food compared to a similar Impecca model from 11 years ago. My old microwave could reheat anything in 30 seconds or less, while this one takes at least 2 minutes for everything. I have also noticed more interference with my bluetooth when using this microwave.

It took 4 orders and 3 deliveries to receive one that wasn't damaged or clearly used and returned. However, I do appreciate the fact that I can turn off all beeping, which is the main reason I stick with Impecca. The door isn't loud when closing, and the microwave is lightweight for its size. It also looks good and is wide, but the black finish easily shows fingerprints.

The microwave's height is sufficient, but the interior could be taller. The buttons do not light up, and the steam makes it difficult to see through the door. I am not a fan of the dim light inside, as I prefer the brighter yellow lighting in my old microwave. I also find it inconvenient to have to press start after the +30 time setting, but it is not a deal breaker.

I am skeptical about its longevity, as I don't think it will last as long as my previous Impecca model. Overall, I have some reservations about this microwave.

The plug on this microwave sticks out when placed in the wall socket, so I had to use a flat short extension cord to make more room on the shelf. The door requires a hard push in the center to close and makes a loud click, so there's no hiding treats in the microwave without the family knowing. I added rubber no-skid pieces under the front feet to keep it from sliding around. The buttons are all good, except for the power level button which requires multiple presses to set the desired power level. The defrost button works well for softening butter, but the timer buzzer could be louder. I find it difficult to hear the timer if I'm in another room, and it's not irritating enough to get my attention if I'm in the same room.

I used to own a reliable 1980's GE microwave that lasted for over 25 years, but newer GE and Sharp models have failed shortly after the warranty expired. I was disappointed with GE's expensive Profile range, toaster oven, and microwaves since they have been owned by Chinese. After doing some research in 2020, I found that Impecca and Toshiba were the best-rated microwaves available. I purchased the Impecca countertop microwave in and it arrived two days before the scheduled delivery, in perfect condition. It runs quietly and hopefully will last longer than the 3-year protection plan I purchased. The only downside is that it requires three button presses to warm up my coffee, unlike my old microwave. However, it turned out to be a returned item and was improperly packed. The microwave had trouble starting and I had to either return it or fix it myself. I decided to open it up and found that the door latch was not properly closing a switch, preventing the microwave from working. I made a small adjustment and now it works perfectly. I believe the issue was caused by the previous owner slamming the door, which loosened a screw and caused the latch to malfunction. I am disappointed in the quality control of online Warehouse and swear to never purchase from them again. I had a previous Impecca microwave that was similar to this one and lasted for many years. When the price dropped on this one, I decided to buy it. I noticed that the Sensor Cook items are different on this model, and it requires pressing the Sensor button multiple times to get to the correct number. It cooks faster than my previous one, probably due to the higher wattage. I was surprised to see that one of the Sensor Cook items was an omelette. I decided to try it according to the recipe in the manual and it turned out perfectly. I pre-cook frozen chopped vegetables in the microwave and add them with shredded cheese and salsa to the omelette. It's low calorie and looks beautiful when folded over. After our old microwave suddenly stopped working, we did a lot of research before deciding on the Impecca microwave. It came highly recommended by both consumer advocacy groups and other customers, and it has been working perfectly for us for the past two months. The only adjustment we had to make was getting used to the higher wattage, which required us to alter our cooking times. We've also noticed that many products only list cook times for microwaves up to 1000 watts, so we have had to adjust accordingly. I am very pleased with this microwave! It is the fourth one I have had in the 31 years I have lived here, and I am impressed with its great features, especially the turbo defroster. It defrosts efficiently by the weight of the meat, making it safer than previous models. I weigh the meat before freezing and mark it on the bag. I was surprised by the weight of the microwave compared to my previous one, as well as the lack of a glass window in the door. Additionally, the large interior size was unexpected, and I learned that most microwaves are now made by Impecca. The door catch can be loud, especially compared to the original Whirlpool model that came with the house.

This microwave is almost the same size and slightly more powerful than my old one. It cooks well and the turntable runs smoothly. However, the control panel makes simple operations take longer than they should. I do like the reheat feature, but it tends to overcook things by boiling them for an extra 30 seconds. This gizmo is great overall and fits standard mounts. It's not too noisy, has good features, and cooks well. The construction seems good, though the stainless steel looks a bit cheap - the all-black option is better. However, this microwave is more powerful than most, and it seriously interferes with my 2.4ghz wifi, though the 5ghz network is fine. I have extensive experience in this area and know that microwaves typically interfere with wifi, but this one is especially problematic. I have two of the same microwaves in two different houses with two different networks and routers, and I still have the same issue. Despite the interference, I bought two of these microwaves, so I must think it's worth it.

After having this microwave for well over a year now, I can confidently say that the 4 star rating holds up nicely. The spaciousness of the microwave has been its best feature, as it can fit our largest containers without any issues. The turntable still works perfectly, and we have found the popcorn mode to be very efficient.

We don't use the defrost feature very often, but it's nice to have just in case. The only thing I wish this microwave had is the Quick start feature, where you can press buttons 1, 2, or 3 for respective minutes. It's a minor inconvenience, but our old microwave had it and I miss the convenience.

Overall, after almost 2 years of use, the microwave still works very well and the size and power are great. The only small issue is the lack of a Quick start feature, but it's not a deal breaker. I would still recommend this microwave to others.

As for the newer microwave I have had for 6 months, I'm pleased with its performance so far. The spaciousness is a major plus and the popcorn levels are adjusted by size, heating the popcorn efficiently. I haven't tried the defrost or sensory cooking features yet, but I appreciate having them available. The bright door light and high power of 1200 watts are also great features. So far, I haven't experienced any negatives, and the heating seems to be even. I will update again in 6 months if anything goes wrong.

I've only had this item for about two months, replacing a similar model that had the common bad door lock issue. I've been using the microwave for about a week now, and I have mainly positive things to say about it. It cooks well, is quiet, has a lot of space, and looks great. The owner's manual is also very informative and easy to understand.

However, there are a couple of drawbacks. The light inside the microwave isn't very bright, and the protective screening makes it difficult to see the food as it cooks. Also, I miss having a visual indicator when the food is done, as I often forget about it after putting something in to warm. My previous microwave had this feature and I found it very useful.

Purchased a used one at a discounted price and am very satisfied with it. I don't think I would ever need to use the warranty on these products. If they don't work upon arrival, we just use online to return them and we've never had one break after a few weeks of use. The size is perfect, and I like that it's tall enough to defrost most items. It's also quiet and I appreciate the 30-second timer. The defrost cycle works like magic, unlike our old one which often toasted the edges while leaving the center icy. The sensor reheat function is also great. It would be helpful to have a decal on the door for the sensor cook settings, as I don't want to spend time remembering them. I would even pay extra for a nice decal related to the settings. The information is in the manual, but who keeps that handy?

My 3 star review is based on personal preference. The oven works fine but lacks the convenience I'm used to. Our previous microwave had one touch settings for 30 seconds, one minute, two minutes, and up to 5 minutes. This oven lacks one touch settings, including for popcorn. Even the quick 30 seconds requires hitting a setting and then Start. My vision is failing, and it was easier to see the one-touch settings on my previous oven. The Start button is in a different location than I'm used to, so I have to think about it. I mainly use a microwave for quick conveniences and don't care for sensors. It is not great for popcorn, as you have to navigate through options based on the ounces in your pouch, which might not match any of the oven's options. I have not been able to get the add time or subtract time function to work. I struggle with learning curves and find this oven to be non-intuitive for a microwave. However, it excels at defrosting and softening butter, if you don't mind pushing multiple buttons to get the settings right. Overall, it's just not what I'm looking for in a microwave.

I've had this microwave for about a month now and it's exactly what I was looking for. I'm very pleased with its performance. The sensor cook function requires a bit of remembering which number corresponds to which items, but it's not too difficult to remember the two items I typically cook. It has a high power and cooks much faster than my old microwave. The defrost works great - I always had to defrost items because my wife would end up half cooking them, but the sensor defrost on this microwave works really well in her opinion. It's larger than I expected, but I wanted a large microwave. Just make sure to note the depth of this microwave. The black finish will collect fingerprints since it doesn't have a handle, but my wife and I have found a way to close it without leaving fingerprints on the front. It took a while to stop reaching for a handle, though.

I have purchased three Impecca counter-top microwaves in the past. The first one lasted for many years, likely over 15, before it stopped working. The second one exploded after 5-7 years, and the third one had a door latch problem after about 5-6 years. Despite these issues, I decided to purchase another Impecca microwave because they are the largest and most powerful for a reasonable price. I would rather replace it every 5 years than deal with a lesser quality microwave for a longer period of time. It's frustrating to have to do this, but it seems to be the reality of business models today. I hope this new one lasts longer. I will update in the future.

I want to make it clear that I paid full price for this product and did not receive any discounts for a review. We have only had this microwave for five hours, so we haven't had a chance to test all of its functions yet. I consider myself a novice cook, so we primarily use the microwave for heating beverages, making popcorn, and reheating leftovers. This is our third microwave in six years, and it seems like they always fail just after the warranty expires. The previous microwave we had lasted 12 years, so we're disappointed with this trend.

Pros: This microwave is more powerful and has a larger capacity than the Kenmore we replaced.

Cons: I don't like the fact that I have to press a button five times to get half power cooking, and it doesn't sit level on my counter. The beeping is also very quiet.

This microwave is fantastic. It's large, so it took some getting used to, but it does everything it promises and more. We've heated up meals and even experimented with making meatloaf in it. I love how it senses the vapor and beeps when the meal is ready, taking the guesswork out of cooking. Defrosting is a breeze, just follow the instructions. It defrosts frozen roasts in less than 20 minutes, making BBQ preparation quicker. We're looking forward to experimenting with baking in it. Thank you for this great countertop microwave!

I bought the Impecca microwave to replace my old GE model, which stopped working after four years. We liked the GE, but the control panel was not lighted and hard to see. I chose the Impecca in so that my husband could see the controls better, but it also does not have a lighted panel. Unlike the GE, the Impecca does not have pre-set options for common items like reheat, poultry, beef, vegetables, potatoes, popcorn, defrost, etc. Instead, you have to consult the owner's manual and set the control panel manually. So far, I've only used the Impecca for baking pot pies and reheating leftovers, and it's working well. I hope it lasts longer than the GE did.
